 I'm looking to score some headlight, taillight,side marker, fog light housings, and mirrors. 

While I was searching them up it's hard to decipher who is selling OEM and who is selling replacement. Add to that the aftermarket and I'm a bit confused. 

For the lights, are there good and better replacements? Do those yellow faster or leak more often than a OEM. 

Prices vary so much. You can find them for $40 a pair to $80 a piece. I'm looking for the lowest price on the best ones, not the cheapest priced cheap ones. 

I'd appreciate any input. I hope to know what to get by the time I find the right deal. Lol. Thank you.

 All depends. I bought the $40 set for my ex cab, been over a year and 15,000 miles plus over half highway at 70MPH plus.

Guess what?

No yellowing or fading or cracking yet.

I put a set of cheapo's on my dodge ram when I had it... same thing but I did notice the rubber seemed to deteriorate quickly (the dodge has fringe gasket flappy things) but the lens itself still looked very good. As much as I mess with my trucks 3 years is good enough for me. I don't know if there is a higher end light. Stock would be outrageous I would imagine though I have never priced one.

 I installed a set of new aftermarket head light housings that I got from E Bay in my 2000 Ranger a few months ago & so far so good.

 As far as lens, I think they will for the most part be good products.  With the cheap ones where you really lose it the reflector design.  They can tend to produce crappy light output because the reflectors are poorly designed/manufactured.  They do make great housings to retrofit HID projectors into so you don't have to pull your old ones and go without until the retrofit is done!

 Thanks guys. I'm looking at these.

My ranger is an 07 but I like the 04 side markers. I know there are cheaper ones but I used carparts.com before and had good results. 

I didnt think about reflector quality. Thank you for pointing that out.
