I know this thread is like... a year old. BUT I wanted to say I completely deleted the vacuum system for the front axle (since I went to manual hubs years ago). and put in a check valve, and now... my a/c blows through the correct vents when I accelerate! yay! I couldn't find any issues with the vacuum lines anywhere, other than the ones going to the wheel hubs (where were toast, and why I went with the manual hubs). so not sure if the issue is with the check valve or the vacuum system for the 4x4, if I had just bypassed that if it would have worked, but I wasn't going to do the job twice, so i just did it all at once. Thanks Jamman for the suggestions. I'll be posting a video to my youtube channel some time in the next day or two. (way too hot and tired to edit the video now).

The built in vacuum check valve in the orb must have failed. Bravo for fixing it!
