Ok so I had to find a picture to help with what I'm asking since I don't have the exact section On the  hose. The part circle in red goes to the PCV valve to help cool the gases going through and my question is: is it absolutely necessary for that section of heater hose to go around the PCV valve or is it ok to “bypass” that and not have that section coming off the hoses on the heater core?

I disconnected the coolant lines on mine years ago. I haven't had any problems. I dint think it's there to keep the PCV cool. It's there to warm it up quicker to keep it from getting clogged as it gets older

I hear it also keeps the throttle body from icing up in extremely cold weather. You are in the south, no problem unless you are north of the 45th parallel.

AND welcome to F-R bleu50  :-)

So it would be ok to not have those lines run to it? It would save me $160 to not have to get a new assembly on top of another $60 for a new PCV assembly as they don't just sell the little tube that goes around the PCV by itself

Yes plug them, tie them, weld them, glue them. You will notice no difference at all. Save the money.
