I've been slacking a little bit. I'll give ya a quick rundown of what I've been up to.  First off I'm getting my garage ready for the winter with some insulation, and getting ready to put in a heater, have about 5 engine jobs coming in.

I sent the headers out for ceramic coating, those should be back next week.  Ordered a driveshaft, and finally decided it was time to address the front wheel clearance problems I've had since day one.  These wheels were from my mustang and I thought I'd be able to use them. Was quite happy with the fit.  So I sold the wheels and tires,
So the truck is on jackstands for the time being, I did pick new weld racing wheels and will be ordering them this coming week. I'm going with weld magnum 2.0 for the front and the weld magnum rt III for the rears.

Once I address the small brake line leaks I have I'll get the headers on and get back to posting progres.

Slow goings on the truck.  Still waiting for the wheels.  Ordered some carbon fiber for the interior to keep the truck as light as possible.  Started fab work on the steering column and I also blacked out the windows.

After about 12 weeks my new wheels finally showed up.  And I decided to do a little carbon fiber work for the interior.  Have a lot left to get done but I'm
Hoping the truck will road ready in early May

Can't wait to see the first slip, 1/4 mile time.

Learning this from my son, hoping I'm using it properly...

Well I'm here with an update that you guys won't be to happy with. After almost 3 years of building this truck. It has been sold. Was never forsale but someone came around with a lot of cash and I couldn't say no. It's been fun. I did get it running and it was super loud and rowdy as hell.  It will
Be missed but I also own a 2004 svt cobra which will now get my attention as a 800hp family street car.  Here's the last picture I took before it rolled onto the trailer.

Here is The Prosplash, driven by the new owner, down Fort Street during the cruise a couple weeks ago. Sorry about the quality of the pic. I am not very proficient at driving and pic taking. ;-)

I figured I'd show you guys what I've been working on latley.  2004 redfire cobra with a built 4.6 4v, Cnc heads, supercar cams, a billet 80mm turbo and a th400. I still see the ranger from time to time but the cobra is more family friendly and should make a lot more power when I'm done.
