At $1700 and 215k miles I could easily see another $1700 in repair and service with ball joints, alignment, possible tie rods, windshield, deep cleaning the interior, full fluid replacement, filters, etc...

It would take a Trump to afford to fix it.

I wouldn't put a trump sticker on my Ranger, for fear of left wing key scratches.

I'm an open Trump supporter and in 2017 I remember standing in front of the custom license plate kiosk searching for available plates. I tried MAGA X2 and it was available. I stood there for 2 minutes with my finger over the send button wanting it badly but loving my Ranger enough to know it would get beat up behind my back of course if I expressed my opinion.

What have we become having to fear stupid stuff.

Agree... personal opinions can get you shot, beat up or your truck trashed.  Although I would NEVER put political stickers on my truck, I would be happy to put a 2A sticker or fly the brand of my EDC (back glass application only).  I don't because those out there that are against gun rights can also trash your truck.  However, I am considering it anyway...

Correct, be the grey man. I had a 15 year old Caddy for a few months when I was in the service.  Intel came down for everybody to scrub the DOD stickers and any military affiliation off of our vehicles. We were also given duty time at the auto hobby shop to make sure everybody's vehicles were 100%. Along with that we were to fill up when we were at a half tank. I did keep the Deadhead sticker on the back.

Since then I have tried to keep a low profile. Get vehicles in earth tones avoiding flashy. Always try to get the most powerful available engine and keep up the service.

Well, my truck isn't earth tone, but on the outside, it's not particularly flashy.

Earth tones?  Not my style.

I don't put political sticker on my truck.  I also want people to have to actual engage if they want to know who I support.  I may think certain parties are morons for who they support, but I would never take it out on their vehicle.  Personal property is sacrosanct.

There's a new world coming and sooner than most think... good or bad we are in deep sh!t and going deeper fast.

Ordinary Biker,  You had me on the last word, "sacrosanct", I had to look it up !  LoL !  Thx

Hope all are well from this BS going on, I understand why but don't like the fact that it was a know factor and no one did anything about it.
Well, except for those four Senators who sold all their holding in certain areas.
