Just ran across these on my local Craigslist.  Hedman headers, reasonable price.

Hedman Headers

I have a set for my 4.0L that I THINK until I can actually accomplish the feat of localizing my 4BTa Cummins I may actually clean up, and have ceramic Coated and install.

My trucks got a pretty mean growl as it is and in some ways I've been considering actually redoing the exhaust with an electronic cutout and lengthening the exhaust to quiet it down at times, so I'm on the fence. Plus, it will add a different dimension to the trucks rear fascia when done in a surprising way ;)

Those look like the ones Jegs sells in their V8 ranger swap kit, but for the earlier rangers, I know my 99 is not one of the years listed. I think it ended in 97.

Someone needs to start bending up some more torque monsters.

Just curious; are these a viable option for a 5.0 swap? That is the only reason I posted the link... in case someone was in need for their project.

Yes they are, in rangers up to 1997. Anyone later than that needs FMS headers like I have or torque monsters if they can find them, especially if you have GT40P heads.

I could buy another ranger for what I can get a used set of torque monsters for.

Yeah, I have seen a couple of eBay auctions for torque monsters. Ridiculous... but you know how supply and demand works!

On another topic though: I started this thread, but it didn't auto-subscribe me. I just noticed this and clicked the Subscribe to the Topic button. Just not getting consistent notifications for some reason. Any ideas, Jim?

It doesn't automatically subscribe you now, you have to check the box when creating the topic.

But are you SURE? The bouncing boobs could possibly be causing a ripple in the space-time continuum, thereby causing me not to receive my notifications! Just a thought...

Okay. Still getting used to the way the forum works. And with my failing memory, that could take years...
