 @Bob: Not quite sure how I missed it, but now I see the picture of your little buddy!  We have to take care of them. We do pretty much the same thing with our 11 year old Beagle.  She is the "baby" of the family! :)

 I have 2 furry family members.

There's Tayter on the left, he's 7 and little overweight. Then there's Kody on the right he's 5. Kody has diabetes and has to get shots twice a day. Also, the doggy diabetes caused him to have cataracts in both of his eyes. He can see shadows when its bright in the house, but will still bump into things if we move them from their normal spot. He's a happy dog otherwise.

They're both Jack-Russell Terriers and both go crazy for a squirrel or bird. They have more rights in the house than I do. They're family no doubt.

 Since we are showing off our "extended" families, here is our 11 year old Beagle.  Her name is Crystal (although she has many nicknames), a name given to her at the shelter where we got her.  She is actually my son's dog (TheArcticWolf1911), but we share in the fun and love she brings to our household. :)



This pic was taken 6 - 9 months ago, upon her return from the 'spa'... PetSmart grooming.

Jewel's is the 7th Boston Terrier we have had in our 48 yrs. We bought her when she was 7 yrs.old in Southern Ill. Been one of the best of 7. We spoil her rotten,isn't that what their for? I had a Boston when I was a little boy and decided that is what I want all my life.

 :( Well the snow has arrived, I am up getting ready for work & there is a light coating on the ground & the trucks. At least the drive in to work should not be a problem, coming home will be a different story.
