Weekend is over. Guess I'll start the week off with a nice run in the am.

Kind of rainy in South Georgia this evening. Temps are nice though, maybe 65* or so.

The backboard attached to the rear window is pointing the wrong direction for playing hoops in the bed.

Check that out one cool optical illusion.

Here in two or three years, I'll be buying an 08-14 Dodge Challenger in Tor Red. I'm keeping my Ranger, but I need something with some 'go' to it.

I feel you there, the only time the Ranger throws me back in the seat is when I hit the slightest road imperfection, or a pothole that feels like I chipped a tooth.

I have '08 Mustang GT I bought new in '07. I only put about 1200 miles on it a year now, but it's fun to take out and haul ass on occasion!

I agree! On top of that, none of my 4wd Rangers have ever ridden nice. My one and only 2wd (2001 reg cab) wasn't bad as I recall.

Morning! 72 here already, supposed to hit 80.

I'm about to change the front discs and pads in the Ranger. Then inspect the rear ABS sensors and whatever else could be causing my AdvanceTrac light to be on. Maybe I'll even wash it, we'll see.

I {heart} hot peppers of all varieties and love growing them, therefore I endorse your protection strategy. Tasty peppers that pack a punch are awesome!

Amazing day here in South Georgia. Not a cloud in the sky, sunny and 81* outside. I feel I should be doing stuff outside but I did all that yesterday.

You mentioned something about a jet-ski. Is Twin Lakes still the place to go?

I've heard of Twin Lakes but I'm not sure where it's at or how to get to it. I tried to go to a lake just south of Valdosta, but you have to know someone. It's a public lake but there's no public ramp. Just private ramps in everyones back yard. It'd be nice to find something close. I drive to Jacksonville or Panama City or down to Lake George in Florida sometimes.

There is a place called Cherry Lake. It has a drive over dam spillway that the college students called "The Dip" back in the 80's. I believe it had public access but it was a 2 acre lake.

Twin Lakes had resort style housing and I do not remember a public ramp. I rented a 5 bedroom lake-house with a boat-lift boathouse that had a CrissCraft Runabout when I was in College. I was supposed to be house sitting but I sublet the other 4 bedrooms and that paid my expenses that year.  The owners were reverse snow-birds and would only use the house June-August. We would have a party every Friday night. The college had an 8:1 female to male ratio. It had one of the largest teacher and nursing programs in the SE.

I thought I was in heaven.

Headed to pickup the Hydro-graphics today, Radio Bezel, Power-Door Handle Bezels, and the Cup Holder.

The pre-finish coat pictures look ok, waiting to see them with the semi-gloss finish and of course "In-Person" !

It's about a one hour drive, up hill, to get there, the ride back is a little better...  DOWNHILL, should save some gas.

Will post pictures as soon as I see the finished product.

Other than taking longer than I was told it would, 2 weeks vs 5 weeks, I am hoping for great finished results.

Wow, that's pricey !
How many feet  of gutter did it take  ?

I just had mine done, aluminum, about 150 feet of gutter and 10 down spouts, all white with 3" round down spouts, and the cost was just over the $1300 mark.
I was happy with that price, thinking it was going to be $3K or more.
Maybe I can take a Vaca with the extra.

Anyways, home improvements or just repairs are costing more and more all the time.

450' plus the leaf filters.  Gutters alone were 4300.
