Alright... I've had enough.
I was the 9th person to join this site Years ago.. I feel like I've been a decent contributor at the very least but when it takes me over an hour to make a simple post to help someone with information I actually have.. - IT IS NOT WORTH SPENDING MY VALUABLE TIME TO BE HERE.
Only since the last year or not quite two, have I had any issues. I use all the same extensions, I post the same ways, Ive used every means available to me for posting images, turned off extensions, used different browsers I dont normally use, even incognito windows.. I barily can get a post up and out and there seems to be no rhythmic rhyme or reason as to if something will stick as a post, if I get error codes, told to go Ef' myself, or what. I been around a LONG TIME on forums, still prefer them over FB.. But when I tell you every time I try to post I cant hardly, THATS my biggest frustration for wanting to be here.
So Ive confirmed that the SAME SIZE IMAGES I've used since day one of this sites founding, somehow the Sites capabilities seem to have regressed back to the 1890's, and/or changes to the sites own back end.
- My computer is not even 4 years old - AMD Ryzen 5 5500U/Radeon Graphics 2.10 GHz -- 16GB RAM 64-bit/x64 based processor
- I am running windows 11, less the recent pack 25H2 update because my PC didn't like it at ALL, my problems have been ongoing for over a year actually, it's a Ozzy Song (Shot in the dark) whether a post will post
- I use all the same as far as browsers - Firefox (Mozilla)
- I've turned off all extensions; Privacy badger, FB container, Ublock
- I've used other browsers I don't use; Edge, Chrome
- I've used all the private and incognito options
- I've went through 5 different size-reductions to find the size I can upload anything above 1080 x 600(ish) the site doesn't seem to like, and even then you cant load more than 3 at a time, or at least I can't since I've been told No one can recreate my issues.
- I've cleared all cookies and Cache for the site
- I've got all the newest updates on everything involved
- I checked the stars to make sure they aligned with Saturn properly.. I clam-baked burned the Native American Indian sage a'la Snoop-Dogg style in the home office, walked around the computer 6 times clockwise completely, 6 times counter-clockwise completely, and another 6 times clockwise completely, Summoned the Forum demons, rebuked being a US citizen, and swore America was never great before, how can it be again..
That made 2 posts, and this comment if it posts, takeover 2 hrs, and this is probably the 4th time in a few weeks I am attempting to state the issue, as the last 4 times failed to allow me to post. I get less shadow banned on IG.. lol
So my assumption is, the Site itself has had/made changes that aren't jiving with my same old setup, I cant seem to find the issue on my end, and I don't have problems with anywhere else that i am aware of or been. It's gotten to the point where I have to copy/paste the whole post in case it doesnt go through.
