Okay, I belong to a lot of forums (not all truck related *gasp*).  On one technology forum I frequent, a member posted about an experience he had one day that just made the day GOOD.  So, as the title and description state, post what happened to you that made your day "GOOD"!  I'll start...

Today is my sons birthday.  Since I am at work, I texted him "Happy Birthday".  When he responded, I told him I was just happy I am still around to watch him grow up into the awesome man he has become.  So there... just having him as my son and sharing his experiences makes this (and every other day) a GOOD day! :)

Today is my birthday. Every time I log in to FR there are multiple people on and posting. The latter makes it a good day!

What made today good for me was, other than turning 19, my order from Windham Weaponry came in, and I installed the trigger guard into the lower receiver without busting one of the ears off. I have to call them and get a new bolt catch spring (the one I received is defective), but overall not a huge deal.

Tomorrow will be even better, because my folks and I are going out to breakfast and picking up a 10 longgun security cabinet, which will be home to (someday) Project Vietnam, an M1 Garand, A remington R1 or two, S&W 686, two other future project ARs, and whatever else I feel the need to have.

It'll be a long and slow process getting all of that hardware, but it will be worth it.
