When clicking on Preview (when posting posts), I get this error screen.

Just did a few tests.

When clicking "quote". Then clicking Preview.

That gave me the same error.

Well Jim has had me ferreting around to see if there is a fix for this.

There are workarounds but they would just avoid the issue by turning off a security code. Not a good idea.

It is a recognised issue with Chrome - their security seems to have gone to the point where a lot of text editors will trigger this response in certain circumstances.

I will continue to see if we can modify the way our editor works but in the meantime I have three options for you.

1. Use Firefox.... or any browser other than Chrome or Opera

2. If you want to use Chrome or Opera then don't use the preview button - just post and review the post - you can always edit it without issue if you want to.

3. Go to the post you want to quote - select the bit you want and copy it to the clipboard  (ctrl C) then hit reply, then paste (ctrl V) and select the text you just pasted then
click the code button in the toolbar - this will give you the quote which is safe from the preview issue - preview will work normally.

I am running Opera and I have a bit of a different issue.

When I post I loose any formatting with paragraph and returns.

This reply was posted in the Quick Reply with two carriage returns between each sentence.

Any ideas?

And it worked in this post but not in others....

The editor is just a text editor - not a word processor - so carriage returns are just that - hitting return just starts a new line.

To get a space between paragraphs you need to hit return twice to insert an empty line between the paragraphs, they are not true paragraphs with their own spacing which is separate from line spacing.

Once you get used to this WYSIWYG style you will embrace it and have a hard time using anything else.

There are bugs we are working on but the line break isn'tone of them.

Part of the illusion is the text wraps in the editor but once posted it is in a much wider format.

I'll probably get into trouble with Jim but I have found a solution to the paragraph break issue.

If you hit return or enter, you will now get a line break between the paragraphs.

Please let me know if this does NOT work on any browsers you are using - I can only guarantee Firefox at the moment.

Works on chrome too.

In reply window not quick reply.

We need someone, the only person who uses IE or edge to test
