a little daddy/daughter time. Had fun going to the local range. It was her first time shooting with iron sights, Previously had used a red dot on my 10/22, but wanted her to be more in control of what she was doing.

I did a range day.  The Glock 45 9mm ran flawlessly with a RMR 124gr JRN with 4.7gr of CFE pistol.  This is a first as it has been a jam-o-matic with everything else.  I had some low energy rounds that could not cycle the G45 , 1911, or the AR during the cooler months. Mid summer they cycle fine in everything but the G45.  Lesson learned, my powder is temperature sensitive. I will shoot this ammo up and go with a hotter load for anything to be loaded in the future.

Nice!

I would go stupid with a trigger upgrade and other internals.

After spending as much on the gun as I did my ranger... I am not doing anything to it. It's perfect the way it is. I may change my mind after 10k rounds, but it will take me a while to get there.

Good luck finding 10k of 10mm ammo. I was still building my brass supply when everything went to bare shelves. I have a new brass order with Starline  that I placed last November that is still on backorder.

I have 350 rounds on order, shipping this week. 10k rounds is not going to happen any time soon. I paid 60cpr for this batch pre taxes and shipping.

Honestly, I don't plan on shooting it much. this was a "I WANT it" gun. I have other pistols for competition and self defense.

A 10mm in a 1911 frame is a tough gun to shoot. I recommend shooting gloves. My dad had the Bren Ten back in the 80's. That gun would hurt when you shot it. I don't think I every shot a full magazine in it.  I have the Glock 20 in 10mm and after 3 or 4 mags I am ready to put it down. 10mm is a hard hitting round.

From everything I've seen/read, it's not too bad in this frame, it has a 6" barrel vs just 5, and it weighs more than my other 1911's. so hopefully there is enough mass there to keep it in control. The Kodiak weighs over 10oz more than a G20, and 4oz more than a bren ten. that mass makes a difference.

And that is why we encouraged members from the beginning to upload their images to the gallery so they are frozen in time forever as long as I am alive and probably beyond. Now the context makes little sense.

After being in business since 1852 (a decade before the American civil war) in springfield Massachusetts, Smith and Wesson is moving headquarters to Maryville Tennessee in 2023.

There may or may not be a couple more prominent gun manufacturers in the area haven't heard if they are going to bend, break or resist yet.

They stand to lose around 60% of their revenue under some of the modern day legislation being passed in Massachusetts.

Stands to reason if you are trying to eliminate the constitution you would have to eliminate the rights we were given in the constitution to defend the constitution.

Now if all these guns weren't just jumping out and killing people everything would be OK eh?
