I can no longer reply to a post, or start a new topic when using Internet Explorer. The Post/Preview and icon bar is missing. I have to use Fire-Fox in order to post, or reply. It is only a problem on this forum.  --- John

I will look at it but there is no reason to use internet explorer at all.

I will have to fire up my forscan laptop just to test it but I will.

Just about everyone in the world has switched to chrome or firefox.

So you were using it, it worked just fine, then now it doesn't work? Did you switch themes by chance?

Chris and myself worked on the IE thing for MONTHS I thought we had it licked!

Give me till tomorrow, I will look at it.

If the icon bar is missing it is probably a JavaScript issue - either something has changed on your pc or with IE .

A quick fix to use IE is to set your theme to ranger instead of rangernew - that uses the old style editor.

As Jim says IE is now old hat and support for it will wither away.

Changing over to the Ranger theme, has fixed the problem.  Must have been switched over to Ranger-new without my knowing about it.

I tried using Chrome several times in the past and gave up because it messed up so many things on my computer.

Fire-fox seems to work for most things, but I loose all access to my e-mail accounts.

IE has always worked well for me, so I stay with it. ---- John
