Alls good so far.

Some of the options (Ex: Setting up Profile) are a little confusing to find at first.
Line Breaks!! (IE: Pressing Enter)The forums is taking these out and running most posts in a long line for me, unless I use 2 breaks... Kinda annoying...

Line breaks is a known issue and there are problems in other browsers also. Problem has been chased before, the minute I fix it Microsoft changes browser guts.
Time to re examine it.

Lol.. Having formerly worked for a Software Company that had software that completely ran inside IE, I feel this pain. I'm so glad I don't do anything IT related anymore for work.

Few suggestions...

Every forum has generic Ranger pictures to show it is a Ranger forum. Ours is no different (besides the newest Ranger being included) so what if we took some real trucks (as in ones owned by forum goers or founders) to show off the forum?

And as for a mobile site, I have no idea what all is involved with getting the site compatible with Tapatalk but I love using that app and would enjoy having this forum added to it!

Good idea, I have a banner rotation script we can have multiple random pictures upon refresh.
Like the ram forum, they do that. I got many ideas there.

No, like the ram forum: http://ramforum.com/index.php

The pic on the left changes every refresh.

TOTM will start after 100 participating members. I love TOTM but nobody keeps it up at the other places.

I actually like it that way but the people who have been using MS products for years are so used to the double space I will have to figure out how to put it in.

I feel like I have more control with the single space. But that's just me not most humans.

It would take a lot of work - there are no ready made plugins for this forum software so one would have to written specially. Then it would cost to lose the tapatalk branding and to publish the site on apple / google.

The aim is to make the software "device aware" so that if you open it on a tablet or phone you will get the same content but displayed in a way that suits the device.

If you want to see what I mean - try opening the link below on a mobile and a PC - note that this is work in progress and not all pages have been adapted yet!

I think I may have mentioned this elsewhere on here, but a members garage section would be nice (in my opinion). Here is what I'm talking about:

http://fordranger.net/garage.php?do=editvehicle&v=1217

Also, if you could increase the number of characters in the signature in the profile.  Can't get very creative with the colors and such...

Lets see how the poll goes on the by years sections and I'll change everything at once.
The section you linked to could be accomplished with "custom profile fields" in this software.
The siggy settings I'll look at

Changed sigs to take 1000 chars.

Wasn't that bad but did require a database mod.
Tested and works. See my sig LOL

"Sorry, posts can be edited only within 24 hours of the original posting."

Is that defaulted setting or is that administrative setting? If default that sucks.. :\

OK this is something I have an unusual amount of experience with.

If there is truly a reason to edit a post for misssspellings or baddish grammar or incredibly changed info (work on an item that is suddenly recalled) then contact an admin and we will be happy to change it for you.

I could come up with a half page of reasons to limit post editing from real experience some of it legal reasons.

So in the words of Ozzy Osbourne... "I love you all" but this particular request I will have to deny, sorry.

My thoughts were in the example of:
Hypothetically, I change directions in mods to my vehicle or added a couple new things and I go to edit my first post, if you look at my build page I spent a fair amount of time doing a proper outline in a rather professional manner [maybe just my opinion] and to be able to edit that first page to corrolate with the storyline is kind of a key factor I would think.

And by "legal" reasons? What would that entail, my curiosity is peaked. Hahaha
