The G button is at the end of the second row of the old editor buttons - you should see it even on Vista!

It's there by the Maximize Button, the four arrows !
Works the same as before !
The "New" Post Button and others are on the top now and they all work well.

There are also Editing Buttons at the Left of the top row all easy to get to and to use.

Chris has done a good job !

Yes - but not for Don as he uses Windows Vista and still has the old editor - the new editor only supports recent OS & browsers.

Is it possible to add a multiple quote function?  Very appreciative of all the hard work going into the editor.

The Multi-Quote appears to work, I had one instants where the two Quotes didn't come forward, just one did; this time it worked though !

Another problem I have found, maybe not a problem to you.
I get an e-mail of a post and want to post with a quote, I click the quote button but not logged in yet...  I am asked to log in... works...  I log in but instead of going to the Posting area with the Quote, the Programs goes to  an open posting area.
Is this a problem or just me ?

Thx

I've been noticing but not sure if it is me or the Editor.
When I get below the edge of the editor and hit the return the lines do not come up until I start typing again.

Not a major problem, more of a nuisance, but to me my OCD, PTSD, kicks in and I get WTF is going on !

Again, thanks for your effort.
The Multi-Quote thingi s working out...  !

The mail / login / empty editor box is probably something that could be fixed via the cookies but the simple solution is not to logout!

I can't replicate the lines below the editor window thing - it scrolls perfectly for me. What OS & browser are you using?

Chris,

I have a new Apple LapTop, latest in OS and Safari.

I am having trouble with the Ford-Ranger Site's Notifications going to the JUNK Mail.

I have made sure you are in my Contacts, put the Admin address in the VIP Folder, double checked the Contacts, and I am lost at what to do; any suggestions ?

One more thing, the Notifications were always going to the Inbox, all of a sudden things changed and I can not correct.

This has been going on for almost two weeks and I have been working on it for that long.

My next step after asking you will be Apple itself.

Thanks for your time,

Is this on IOS mail, webmail or a mail client (Thunderbird, Outlook etc.)?

If on IOS mail, have you tried opening one of the junk folder notifications and marking it as "not junk"?

Open one of the notifications and view the source / headers - copy them and send them over to me.

I believe it is the iOS Mail, it has no "This is not Mail" but other indicators that I have switched.
I found a Filtering system inside of Mail and switched it on and one of the filters was "Must be in Contacts"  and the site is...

I'm lost, I will contact the Apple Forum and see what is up.

I was just thinking I just did an OS update... maybe a problem within it !

I noticed today the Left margin is the only format available. i.e. If I wanted to center a youtube vid in the post - denied. same with right margined use.

Open Mail's Preferences, click the Junk Mail item in the toolbar, and click the Reset button.

In the same Junk Mail window check the Enable Junk Mail Filtering option. Enable the Mark as Junk Mail, But Leave it in My Inbox option. When this option is on, any messages that Mail believes are junk will be marked in brown.

Leaving them in your Inbox for the time being will enable you to A) see if the junk mail filter is working at all and B) easily identify mail marked as junk. The filter works better when you teach it and having junk appear in your Inbox will remind you to train Mail.

Scan your Inbox and verify that what Mail is calling junk, really is. If it isn't, highlight the good messages and click the Not Junk button in Mail's toolbar. Likewise, keep an eye out for messages that are junk but haven't been marked as such. When you find one, highlight it and click the Junk button in Mail's toolbar.

When you are happy with the Junk filtering you can  return to the Junk Mail window within Mail's preferences and enable the Move it to the Junk Mailbox option.

To centre a video just insert the video and before moving the cursor, press centre or right align edit button on the toolbar - carry on typing which will be centered but just press the left align button to left align the text.

On the topic page, each post has a "Quote" button above and below the post!

Also there is a topic review shown BELOW the editor - just scroll down to see the topic you are replying to.

Got new mail this AM from the Site, AND it was in the normal mail again, finally.
Not sure if it was the "Reset" or all the clicking on the top of each mail message but it is done for now.

Thanks for the assists Chris.

Don't know which Thread to post in anymore.

Was just posting to my Project thread and got the Font identifiers back.

You might check it out.

I attempted to copy/paste it to this thread and it looked OK !

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

An interesting one as the inserted tags are not true tags but random parts of the font face type!

While I can't correct what the browser is doing to insert this oddity, I have been able to put in  a filter to remove it from the displayed post.

The reason it looked OK on editing is because that filter is already built into the editor itself so it filtered out the tags so you did not see them, but they were still in the underlying post text that is stored on the server.

Thanks Chris, what about the two threads on "The New Editor" ?
Any chance of combining them... somehow ?
