Hey everyone. Just joined. I just bought a 1993 ranger xlt 4x4 with a 4.0 liter and a 5 speed from my father in law for $1k. It has 85k miles (he claims) but I'm guessing he just didn't account for the odo turning over. I have been working my way through the brakes and other small issues and it never hurts to have a bunch of guys who know what they're talking about who you can ask. I'm actually a teacher, but can do some of the simpler mechanical stuff myself and always like to learn new things. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Welcome! 93 is a very good year for the ranger
If you have not already done your front brakes consider sourcing some knuckles/rotors/calipers from a 96/97 ranger they have dual piston calipers with actual slide pin bolts....way better brakes for the older ttb trucks
