Dig that this forum has this topic, I enjoy seeing others "projects" as well. Been into VW's about 18 years now, have had about 25 different models over the years. Currently I have a 16' 2dr GTI S 6spd manual. It's the perfect car for me, has the things I need and all the crap I don't want (i.e. Sunroof, Driver Assistance  , Navigation).
