This guy contacted me a week or so ago and I went out and looked at it. These are from my camera.

He told me before I saw it that he had lowered it. I was thinking to bring it back up but he used an entire DJM kit with lower arms so it wouldn't be an easy reversal.

He has a bed for it too, it is the only thing with any rust. It is a frame up, the frame isn't only clean it is painted and in 100% shape.

He converted the rear axles to 4 bolt in order to put the mustang wheels he loved on them.

I don't necessarily like how low it is but it is ultra cool and the bed though the wrong color is spotless.

True duals all the way to the back exits below bumper and sounds NICE not too loud.

Engine is a roller from a 85 mustang GT with an aftermarket EB carb. He took the headers off and put manifolds on because the header gaskets continually blew out.

Thoughts?

Not really all that low.  I have seen Rangers lower than that.  I'd buy that.  And leave it.  Needs paint.  Something monochromatic.  Red with the black maybe.  And debadge it.

It's debadged on the right side being he replaced the fender. His paint guy is great, it matches 100% and if I get it I might have his paint guy do the bed.

It is very low, I have some tires for the back that are much larger in diameter but they are 5 lug. I hope the original guy left the holes for the 5 lug and just machined 3 spots for the 4.

It is relatively professional build, it wasn't thrown together. The story is interesting too, there's even a story to why the fender flares on the back are rusted.

The rear end is flipped, I could just put it back on the proper side but the front won't work unless I remove the DJM lower arms.

It is very quick as is but I feel it needs traction bars in the back.

The lowness bugs me makes it look like a long bed.

Very niceeeee. What's wrong with a long bed?! *cough I have 2* cough. I like it. Get that one 100% the way you want it, it doesn't seem to far from perfect. As you drive that one it'll make you want to do your own swap.maybe. That's a real real first gen, before the facelift. It looks clean. It is a little low, but not too low in my opinion. Any idea how low? Just the dream beams or did he use the lowering coils too?

I have tried  lowering via torsion bar and cut springs. Both ended up in a very harsh ride.  I have a plan for a air bag lowering system for my next truck.
