The 2019 Ranger was featured on Motor Week this past weakend. There are three trim levels. XL,XLT,& Lariat.  Reg Cab, Ex Cab & Crew Cab. No matter the cab you get the overall length is the same. The bigger the cab the shorter the bed. 4x2 and 4x4 available. A 4x2 Lariat crew cab starts @ 33,000. 4x4 crew cab Lariat starts @ 39,000. Only engine available is a 2.3 IL4 turbo 270 H.P. same engine they put in Mustang. Over all Motor Week seem to like it.

The cost doesn't out weigh the fact that it looks like a reworked car, or it is only a 4 cyl., or, or, I just don't like it , I guess !

I priced one, just for grins, $43K... F150 $39K; I think that is what Ford wants... you to buy the F150 !

The was a comparison on the web, Ranger vs the Tacoma, Ford won but not by much.  The driver wanted to wear his hat and I guess Ford's cab was big enough but not the Tacoma.  Also, the Ranger out pulled the Tacoma up hill and was quieter !  Still a no go for me !
