Do all stock Rangers share the same lug pattern? If not, is there a compatibility chart somewhere?

The Ford Ranger, Bronco II and Explorer all have a 5x4.5 bolt pattern which means the wheels will bolt on. Will they "fit"? Different story all depends on wheel well clearance. We need to gather any real experience data we can on this and turn it in to a tech article.

I have heard "I put a X size wheel on my ranger and it rubbed on hard right and left turns slightly" and heard in the same thread "Hmmm I have those size wheels and tires... no rubbing at all" so there are variables in there it might be hard to zero in on exact precise info.

Im sure between 2wd, 4wd, FX2, and FX4 there could be different tire height clearances.
But you answered the basic question I was after. I more than likely will not change overall tire size, but good to know what wheels I can use if I find something that I like the look of better than the steelies I currently have. Surprising to see those on XLT trim level. Unless they are not the stock wheels.

I had to use one of my old teardrop wheels off my 2000 Ranger on my wife's 99 Explorer Sport that also had the teardrop wheels, when one of her wheels got damaged & it fit fine with no problems.
