Passenger bag
Anyone known how to wire a dual stage airbag into a single stage? New bag has plug with 4 wires. Old one was single and only had 2.

am not sure
The airbag I sent came from a silver standard cab 05 with a 5 speed and sohc, it was rolled over like 4-5 times no airbags ever deployed (no front collision)
I would not hook that thing up unless you:
sort out the single stage to dual stage bag wiring
have a new airbag brain and drivers side
I did not think you were gonna hook this bad boy up!! Be careful........

You may not find anyone who will tell you how to wire this up. The liability of something going wrong and either
1) deploying as soon as you start your truck up causing injury
2) not deploying in an accident causing death/injury
3) randomly deploying while driving cause an accident, injury or death.

I am 110% for the diy-project man, but when it comes to something like airbags I would much rather take it to a shop and have them do it. It may not be what you wanted to hear, but that's just my opinion, and everyone has their own.

I run 99.9% of the time by myself. I keep my passenger air bag turned off. I would put it in place and leave it disconnected.
