Sooo got a 2007 ranger, just put it back on the road after a small fender bender (bought it from the scrap yard). They cut the rear tail light harness just before it plugged in the rest of the harness that runs to the front of the truck. So I went to a different junk yard and got a tail light harness. That was about 3 months ago. Now the right rear has no brake light or turn signal. No voltage at the pins OR the trailer connector. The front right bulb flashes fast like it should. The rest of the lights work fine.

I've read that the Multi function switch could cause this? I've pulled the switch out and checked the connectors-they look fine. Any advice?

4.0power did the JY cut the main harness or the harness that stays on the bed when you remove the bed of the truck?. Unplug the connector by the rear bumper & check for power for the r/s lights. If it is the bed harness that was cut I have a spare one that was attached to the replacement bed I put on my Ranger that I would let you have cheap.

They cut the harness that stays on the bed. I didn't have any power at the connector that plugs into the bed harness

How many sockets does your harness have for the tail lights. I have a spare one I could give you cheap if the one I have is like yours.

Two per side. Personally I think it's in the turn signal switch. The harness was working fine for about 3 months till the other week. Idk it's werid how it just stopped working
