There is some welding involved still..
That kit is the best one available and the one that has been sitting in my e-bay cart for 2 years now.
Why do I feel it is better?
The U bolts. They are 5/8" instead of 1/2". Anything you are holding together, bigger is better.
I have researched about 8 other similar kits.... all 1/2" bolts.
Thanks for the link! 12 bucks cheaper than e-bay, I owe you lunch.
Obviously some welding is always involved. Anything custom is. I am extremely excited for this axle swap. Haven't looked at the axle tag, but the door sticker on the explorer is a D4 code. Which is the LS diff, so that is very exciting to me! I still have to look on the tag before I get too excited, but it is definitely going to be awesome in the mini baja truck.
Ya welcome! I stumbled across it when I was shopping for some brackets or tabs for another project I am working on.
WOOOH!! Free lunch!!
