I did a smoke test with the smoke tester I ordered on ebay on my 98 Ranger 2.5 automatic. I went through the brake booster hose going to the manifold and I didn't see smoke coming out anywhere except the chrome cap on the idle air control valve. I didn't know if that was suppose to have air coming out of there or not. I replaced the valve in 2017 with a new Motorcraft piece. That's the only place I saw smoke coming out. Does that mean I need to swap the valve out or is that an air bleed?
