The 02+ Rangers and other Fords use a stand alone 4x4 controller to power and control the transfer case shift motor.

We have figured out the wiring for the motorolla box so it can be added to other trucks, I use this to delete the control trac in older Explorer's and convert V8's to use the E shift t case, etc

I have the wiring and it has been posted here

What is your project? so I can help

 It's a 1972 ford bronco I put a 4.6 dohc engine in it with a 4r70w transmission and a bw1356 transfer case out of a 1995 bronco I'm running an electric shift case of course I guess you knew that from my post I'm wired to death right now I'm running a Ron Francis telvork controller for my stock pcm power windows locks Cruze a/c navigation satellite radio oh and of course he lights and back up camera. The transfer case wiring is the end of my build

 Oh I'm using a Motorola controller from a 2003 ranger and the factory motor for the transfer case I also have a 2003 switch but I'm going to try and use one from a 2006 f150

If not we can start a new thread
You need the 03 ranger moto box and wiring pigtails
I usually get all the wiring between the switch and box
the dash switch
you will need the 1356 t case wiring harness or 03 ranger shift motor wiring )that goes through the floor under the drivers seat)
After that its pretty simple really, we will need a NSS feed from the DTRS on that 4r70w and you will need contstant power, switched power, ground, a BOO circuit input, hookup to the 95 instrument cluster 4 hi and 4 low lights, make sure the 95 bronco side of things has the fuse, power feed and relay for the electronic shift circuits usually have to add a wire if the truck was a factory manual t case or rwd

 I looked through the whole post couldn't find a diagram for the stand alone controller. I've run the ko and bat  constant already I'm using a Dakota digital cluster the 4x4 lights are built into the switch on the dash from the 2006 f150 the nss is no problem I had it hooked up once and the controller clicked once but nothing else as far as the computer it's out of a mark viii so there won't be any output for transfer case. Any help would be great thanks. I'm going to try to download some pictures tomorrow when I have a stronger signal

Sounds like a wicked cool build!
So the motorolla box is designed to work with the rotary dash switch I am not sure it will work with the 06 buttons you have, but it probably will.
I will find the wiring diagram and post it up

Was the 95 bronco ESOF already?
Did it use the high range and low range relays? Or did it have a Gem module?
