I've been seeing ads on CL and MP for a while, a guy here in ohio that always seems to have Rangers.

Well past few days we have been texting and messenger...ing about parts he has.

I'm PROBABLY going over there next week to pick up an array of parts I need, he has door panels without holes for my light gray and dark gray interiors, all 3 mirrors I need, decent turn signals for a 2000.

What I'm thinking is, like I know Mike mustang needs an inside rear view mirror... is there any other parts y'all have had a hard time finding I could pick up and ship to you?

He seriously has a bunch of stuff. I can't ship bumpers and tailgates LOL but if there are little things like bezels or trim pieces I would be happy to pick them up and ship them for the exact cost of part and shipping.

Compile lists and I'll see if I can get a discount for mass purchase.

It was a POS. It 280K on the odometer (he initially told me it was just over 100K on the phone). It would crank but would not go into reverse (blue smoke blew out when cranked but cleared up). It was missing one alloy wheel but had an extra steel wheel spare in the back. And he wanted $3000 - he would need to pay me to haul it off.

4.10 limited slip axle? Drum or disc doesn't matter

Edit: noticed you said you couldn't ship tailgates or bumpers and an axle is bigger than that.....darn

I'll ask him but you will be hard pressed to find anything in better condition than the one on your truck.

I have sealed the deal, this Tuesday I will be driving half the day for a round trip to pick up 4 door panels with switches (2 dark gray 2 light gray), a set of 98/2000 turn signal corner marker lenses in incredible shape, 2 LH mirrors and one RH mirror, Mikes rear view mirror and I'll look for those window strips for Stringer.
He has a rear non sliding glass I want too, might get that.
So S***'s getting real, if anyone wants stuff now is the moment to say.

I asked him if he had one lets see.

Was there 2 colors on that... like a dark gray and a washed out dark gray? AND wasn't it the same among all the year 4WD's with the unpainted plastic flares?

I got a pair of these, brand new, from a Ford Obsolete Parts Site, price was more than a Junk Yard but less than the usual Ford Parts were running.

I have seen these removed, cleaned up and Powder Coated or just a repaint with something like Plasti Coat (spelling) !

What condition is yours in? I have 2 sets already. If you are just looking for pristine ones then mine are probably same as yours. If yours are busted then perhaps I can help.

Mine is aftermarket, isn't working well, the usual problem, doesn't seem to hold the water in very long.

My original was sort of a dull color, not sure if it called clear, I just need one that looks good, not yellowing, that sort of thing and if it works then I am ahead of the games.

I'll dig it out today and take the pic. My second set is still in the expo but looks identical. Both worked well.

OK these are dirty on the outside but in better shape than any of the 3 that are in trucks I own. Mild blue stain inside the washer tank like normal, no crap on the sides of the coolant reservoir unlike normal. They are in excellent condition and it still has the overflow hose.

Pic is of the set I have in my garage, the other set is in an expo where I used to work. The price I dunno, find the best price on the internet and divide by 2. I'll include the dirt for free!

Does he have a website? You should invite him to the forum!! He could be our personal used Ranger parts dealer, that would be cool
