The funniest thing about this thread is... I'm actually trying to make a deal with this guy. The dolly is great, surge breaks are what you need with a Ranger to be able to safely tow a car as heavy as the one you are pulling it with.
I have at least one ranger I need to bring home right now.

He has the straps too. Similar trailers with surge brakes are 1100 to 1500 he wants 600

I hauled a 2800 lb car with one of those. I was under the max tow weight but that was a hairy trip because the trailer brakes didn't work.
