I believe and have for a while my TCC solenoid is bad in my 4r44e.

New ones are 80 bucks, does anyone have one laying around they can send me for cheap? Same one fits 4r44e, 4r55e and 5r55e from 97 up. I don't mind buying a new one but this is still in the diagnostic stage.

Hard shifts upward in all gears, downward also but no stalling at idle seems to slip properly below about 1000/1100 rpm.

TY PM me

If/when the time comes to buy new, this looks like a good deal on Motorcraft TCC solenoid XL2Z-7G136-AA. $39 shipped.

OK that's half price of the aftermarket ones, thank you. I was searching 4r44e TCC solenoid and that one did not pop up.

Let me guess and I should already know this, I bet you work or used to work at Ford or have a close relative that does/did.

Thank you I'll buy that one, I spend more than that on lunch with the wife sometimes.

Went to RockAuto to get a cross to the Ford OEM part number, copied it, then searched that number on eBay. Had it in 3 minutes.

Also, if you want to search "4r44e tcc" directly on eBay, you can try checking the "Include description" box. In this case, an unchecked box does not find the $39 part but a checked box does.
