The Prototype is in a 2023 Tremor package for 2 months now, customer states he is just brushing up to pushing over the 700 miles a mark from the 37 gal tank, "I guess mid 690's is close enough", so he says.  If a 34.6" tire is close enough to be considered a 35" tire for most tire companies and drivers bragging rights, we can say 700 miles depending on the driving habits.

I know the reported rating on - https://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/Find.do?action=sbs&id=41169 boasts 389 per tank, that is in stock trim and Fords reported EPA numbers which means it is conducted in a controlled environment. Even when you see City and Highway numbers on the Maroney sticker, City is tested in as a neighborhood speeds at 23.4 MPH and Highway is at 55.7 MPH, which when I worked for a Ford Dealership in in 2014, we were told in our tech/sales training sessions what the base speeds were to get those numbers on Ford vehicles testing, it was their counter argument to the import vehicles we were selling against in California.  There was no up nor down hill elevation changes, all flat road testing.

Our Ford Tremor test model is on 33" tires w/spare, lifted 3" inches, has full skids, rock-sliders, and an aluminum tray with a pop-up aluminum camper tray, which between the two weighs more than just a stock 6ft bed, let alone a often standard 5ft bed.  The Ranger is also outfitted with a host of Goose Gear out back in the topper (seen above); it includes a rear seat delete kit as well.

Where we would normally look at doubling the EPA reported numbers of almost 800 miles a tank if we doubled the 18 gallon tank, adding in the added weight, payload plus an additional 75 miles for the difference of the 3 gallons, we would bet in stock trim and the 37 gallon tank, you would beat the distance of the differences of stock tank plus+ 3 additional gallons..

Any questions, please inquire here or contact us directly
