Lol - we seem to have a lot of Americans who have moved to the UK for work or study who find our systems so different from the the US ones - especially on healthcare and policing. They also often comment that the picture of the UK that is painted back in the US is a lie.

How come we see lots of instagram "videos" of Americans in the UK talking about the UK but never any by Brits in the US talking about the US?

I was born on 1957 & my parent's house in Newark, NJ was probably built in the 30's or 40's had radiators in most of the rooms so never had to deal with no heat. We did have to deal with drafty single pane windows & temperamental glass screw-in fuses that would blow if we turned on to many of the window A/C units in the Summer. Dad always kept a supply by the fuse box in the basement.
