When I get something in my head, I tend to move on it and all my attention goes that way.
I've been reading, studying, and checking specifications a new High Powered Air Rifle for use around the property.
I ended up buying a Benjamin Armada, .22 caliber, 1050 fps, approximate hitting force around the 25 to 30 foot pound of energy (fpe).
Since I don't have a Compressor yet, that will fill my new gun or an air tank to 4500 psi, I decided to buy a new Air Tank and have it filled locally to the prescribed pressure of 4500 psi, which can be a problem except locally in a Scuba Shop.
I am now in the process of looking at Compressors, very few that can compress that much air pressure and handle the heat involved.
There are a few decent ones, but the ones in my price range, under a grand, come from China and I am not happy about that.
Most of the USA Made High Pressure Air Compressors, (HPAC), cost $2K upward toward $6K... I can have a lot of Tanks filled at the local Dive Shop for even the $2K price.
I will be shooting the new Airgun soon and can get back to the Ranger.
I am, in a month, having the Power Window/Lock/Mirrors installed, swapping over the electrics from a 2002 set of doors.
After that my thoughts are going to the drive train but only time will tell.
One more thing, I was going to buy a new truck, not a Ford, but a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, Army Green, I got the Dealer down to a decent price for that truck and then the Dealer hits me with a Premium Charge for the TRD Pro... $7500.00 will be added to the price... why didn't they tell me that from the start.
I got up and walked out with the sales agent yelling he can work something out !
Anyway, I am looking at the Ranger again, after the Power Door are converted to my Truck we will see.
Hope all are well, no Covid BS, Stay Safe.
