Nice looking truck. I know what they advertise but what kind of gas mileage are you getting?

Ditto, let's see if they expand the engine lineup when I get the wife's CRV paid off.

That would be 30% of the payment for me from driving my 2000...  :)

@Jim: what kind of mileage do you get with Jalape±o?  I bounce around 19.2 to 20.3 with my 3.0, I would think yours would do about the same.

I used to get that, it is getting worse lately I have a drivetrain issue. Either wheel bearing, u joint, whole lotta shakin going on. I have plenty of front end parts to put on but I need to tear in to some things. It is cold, I have no time, and neither of my other 2 trucks are viable transportation at the moment. It isn't dangerous yet LOL.

I understand, cold/no time/no spare vehicle!

My son worked overtime today, he got off at 12:00 noon so we decided to have lunch together.  He followed me to the restaurant and when we sat down at the table, he said "we have a small project to do this weekend.  You have no brake lights down low; only the high mount is working".  Hmmm... I always check the lights when I do an oil change and all was well at that time.  Got home and checked the pertinent fuses and those were fine. I think I know where to look though.  The 3-bulb mod I did has a wire that goes up to the steering column.  I'll bet that wire got pulled out or broken with the tilt.  That's happened before, but it was a turn signal wire that time.

Stick your foot into a 3.0 to keep the rpm's up in city driving and it can drop down to 13. I work  3 miles from where I live. My mileage has dropped from 20ish to 18 with me driving to work only. I have gotten 25 on the highway with the 3.0 but I was running 60 mph in light freezing rain and the tail gate was down (this only happened once).

Yep, if I want to stay with the pack, I have to keep the revs up around 3200-3500, which kills the mpg.  I drive like grandpa to get the better mpg.  I'm not in a hurry to get to work anyway! LOL  My commute is 35 miles each way, some city, some highway so it averages out some.
