You may have noticed that now, when you hover the mouse pointer over a topic link in any forum or in the recent topics listings, that a pop up box appears with all or part of the first post in that topic. (Depends on size of the post!)
If you find this feature annoying you can visit your "My account" in the menu and under "Preferences" you will find a check box towards the bottom -
"Turn on the topic first post preview."
uncheck it, "Save" and the pop ups will disappear.
