Welcome! This could be disaster, it could work out. I would rather have metal chips than porcelain!

If you value the truck and it is in great shape and decent miles... you might want to consider taking the heads off.

If you are of moderate concern do not crank it over, you can try to blow it out with air, and cross your fingers.

One option is to rent or borrow a "borescope" which has a little light and camera on the end of a flexible tube. You could probe around in each cylinder and see what is really in there. If you find pieces you can go in with a small wooden stick (like the skewers at the grocery store) with a bit of stiff grease on the end... the porcelain would probably cling to the grease and you could get it out then verify with the scope. That is better than blowing it... blowing it might push porcelain through the intake valve and guess where it goes when you start the motor? Right back in the cylinder. There is bound to be at least one cylinder with an intake valve open.

I'm pretty sure it is a 2.5, I think he posted in the 4 cyl section also. EDITED

WHICH is great for the borescope, put it in one hole and the greasy stick in the other!
