Finally decided to fix the leaking rear end. Here's the evidence ![]() When I removed the yoke i found a groove wore in it, so i installed a speedy sleeve to help out. I installed a new seal and some gear oil too. I have about 10 liters of 75w90 gm synthetic gear oil left over from when i cleaned out my dads shop. So i used it. I know its not the perfect weight, but its good enough for diesel rear ends, the rangers will be fine. No additive because I have an open rear end. ![]() I also changed the oil on the truck. 5 quarts of motorcraft semi-synthetic 5w30 and an motorcraft FL-1A filter. I go with these because I drive a lot of freeway, I do 5k oil changes, and they are only about $25 for both at my local wal mart. ![]()
