I would think outside of the severity of safety issues or concerns that Ford is also thinking that even a 7 year dead platform of being responsible for the safety of said "Ranger owners" in particular is also making sure that with the release of the NEW Ford Ranger that those people are at least satisfied enough to consider a New Ford Ranger upon its release. With the explosive conditioning of seeking positive engagement at a NON-stop pace with likes, stars, and overall acceptance regardless of factors or facts.. it should be no surprise that Ford is actually doing more than just the typical damage control here. Just a thought but even 02-12 sales figures. There are even more prior to 02 from 83. I'm not sure about Wayne Assembly, but I do know early 2000's Ford Wixom plant in Wixom, Mich. made 85-87 cars on average an 8hr shift, 3 shifts a day for years without OT, just base hours. That is a lot of responsibility to be accountable for. Below is the sales figures for US and Canada sales. US & Canada Ranger sales by the year 02/12 Last edited on Thu Mar 1st, 2018 06:09 pm by 12° North Industries ____________________ North Industries Las Vegas, Nevada 89118 Web http://www.12degnorth.com ![]() |
