We had a F150 with the 5.0 and the other with the 3.5 EB at work. Both had a job box with about 400 pounds of tools. The 5.0 averaged 15.5 mpg and the 3.5EB was at 13mpg.

As designed, if you drive anything American made or built for this side of the pond and you try to keep up with traffic, its not designed or tuned that way from the get go.. Good ole' politics rears its dark head.
