The EB F-150 gets good fuel mileage if you are on a flat highway running 60-65mph. Once you add some hills, 400 to 500 lbs in the bed, or hook up to a trailer the fuel mileage goes in the toilet. We had a F150 with the 5.0 and the other with the 3.5 EB at work. Both had a job box with about 400 pounds of tools. The 5.0 averaged 15.5 mpg and the 3.5EB was at 13mpg. Ford is also stating they have a 3L Power-stroke diesel that is coming. But Ford has been saying for over 20 years they were going to release a F-150 with a diesel engine and this is the first time they have released specs. I just hope the 3L PS has the durability of the 7.3PS Last edited on Fri Feb 23rd, 2018 01:16 pm by Tsquare ____________________ Tony NE ATL '04 XLT regular cab 3.slo stepside Semi retirement |
