A small Turbo Diesel would be a good option, a 2.8L Cummins for instance would be a great choice !

I am guessing a 2.0L Turbo Four Cylinder would be nice too and I am assuming the gas milage will be higher than 20 mpg but will it have the power, the Low End Torque needed to pull something other than a wet blanket !

Too many things up in the air now, I need to see where it all goes before making any FINAL decisions, although I am liking the Extended cab version of the Ranger more and more each time I see it.

When the New Bronco (NB) started hitting the Web, there was talk of the NB having a starting price of $27K or less, which at the time sounded good, but as we have all experienced, Ford as others, do not hold to their prototype pricing, I don't see either the Ranger or the NB starting under $35K and with a Diesel... wow, I'm thinking $45K for a little Ranger.
I am sure Ford will price it so the F150 Sales will not suffer !

If we end up with decent power I am thinking it won't matter which engine is under the hood, BUT the PRICE will be the next thing to talk about !

AND just to mention, although the F-150 is nice, big and could work as my next truck, the gas milage isn't that good.  Will Ford come out with a small Diesel for the F-150, as Dodge and Chubby is doing ?
Ford needs to really start thinking about what customers want, not JUST the $$$ involved.

This world is ssssooo based on GREED !
