Make mine an extended cab with a 5-speed...I'm torn between a 4x2 with the 2.3 and a 4x4 with the 4.0. I do prefer the SOHC 4.0 to the pushrod motor, but not enough to outweigh how much more I like the older trucks.
Where I live now, 4x4 is kind of necessary, but if I could get by without it, I really prefer a 2wd truck.
Options-wise...XLT, but without the power equipment group. Rear slider mandatory; cruise and A/C optional.
