 I'm not the biggest fan of blocks either but deaver springs aren't in the budget and the springs would cost me more than the whole rest of the lift I'm getting. 

The lift is a 4in lift and the only blocks I could find are 3in blocks so I'll most likely get the 3in blocks and a pair if 2in shackles, the shackles usually have a hole for 1in and one for 2in so I'll have some adjustability.
