Single Din Units are nice, good sound, minimum attachments though, but they go in easier and don't need special brackets. The Double Din (DD) Units just have more to them, more options, and yes more $$$ but need a special kit to install properly. I too want Blue-Tooth, Cell Phone Hook Up, and maybe some sort of Charging, USB "B or C"; then there is the Nav portion with hook-up to the Waze App,, I like that (might be through blue-Tooth) and Backup Camera, always wanted one with sensors but I am not sure if a Radio has the sensors or not ! Is there a "How-To" on this site for the modifications to the Single Din or Ford Radio sized opening to fit a Double Din Unit ? The reference to the AVIC 8201... NOT ! Too much $$$ !

Working on more Mods, just need more time, longer days would work ! |
