Dustin I understand your point but it isn't like she left all but 2 bolts out of the bellhousing or left the exhaust open under the cab because she didn't have time to put the rest of the pipes on.
I drove a 70 cuda for a while with an automatic, the shifter broke and I had 2 coathangers to the lever on the tranny. One would pull it to low, the other I would use to shift with since it had an awesome shift kit.
I was waiting on a special shifter to come in from Hurst to whatever shop I was dealing with in Detroit at the time.
Even though it was rigged you could not have kept me out of that car, 383 cop car motor, 5.13 rear gear, was a blast and I was young.
No harm done.
I will continue to be the peace maker I've seen forums go south quickly over little things like this.
If either one of you have issues I will be happy to address them in PM I am receptive.

Rigging something to drive your only car isn't the same as jerry rigging an unneeded modification because you were to rushed to do it right.
Its not hard to wait until you have the resources.
My red lightning has been down in pieces for months because I don't have the time to finish what I'm doing.  I can guarantee of it was my only rig, I wouldn't have even started the mods.
There is a huge difference between trying to keep your only rig on the road, and half assing   mods in your dd that you could've waited on.
I'm not going to sugar coat my feelings on something just because someone can't handle being told what they're doing is wrong.  If the forum is seriously a place everyone gets patted on the back for everything regardless of whether it's deserved, then I'm on the wrong forum.
