I have seen the M231 "Port firing weapon" mounted in the Bradley but I have never seen it fired. It shoots special ammo and is supposed to be totally different internally than the AR-15.

M16A3, M-16A4, and the M4A1 all get a bit hazy. The A4 came out right before I retired and I didn't get any time with it.
