IF they were made from clear acrylic and painted, as advertised, then I was going to create a low light setup mounted behind each letter, sort of creating black letters with a glow behind them for night viewing. If you ever do decide that you want to do something like this, you should check into the legality of it. Red lights on the front of the vehicle or blue anywhere are reserved for emergency vehicles only. Expect trouble if you go with red or blue lights in the grille. Also, even if you use white LEDs, you could run afoul of the limitation on the number of "forward facing lights" - most states allow a maximum of 4. Some police might let it slide but this is just the kind of thing the CHP loves to go after.
