The RED is a little off from my truck's E4 but I will use them as is for now ! IF they were made from clear acrylic and painted, as advertised, then I was going to create a low light setup mounted behind each letter, sort of creating black letters with a glow behind them for night viewing. AS I tell my Granddaughter, 3 yr, "No BIGGY", i'll live !My idea on using an Clear Acrylic and imbedding LEDs in it came from my Cup Holder Lighting Project. I used 3/8" Clear Acrylic, cut to fit each Cup Holder, put a 1/2" Drill Bit half way in the disc creating a small counter bore with a tip. I epoxied a flat LED in the hole, and when the lights are on, the light would spread through the whole disc. Need to work on the brightness, maybe a dimmer. Sorry got carried away ! BUT, yes it was a dumb move on my part. I never checked to see if the protection paper peeled off or not. I actually thought the paper was used to help separate the parts from the cutting and painting tables.
