Wasn't quite the original plan, but since I bought this truck eight years ago, I have not bought a car or truck tire that wasn't a Nokian Nordmann- three or four sets on the Ranger, and I've had them on both my little cars, too. Cheap, good in snow, wear pretty well...a bit loud but not awful. I get about three winters out of 'em on the truck, then use 'em as summer tires for the next three years.
Here's the set that's on it now, back when they were new.
