Well, I'm still waiting on Brownells to put out their A1 uppers again, IF they come back. With the release of their retro rifles (completed), I wouldn't be shocked to hear that they're discontinuing the individual parts in favor of completed rifles.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to other forums, but suffice it to say in the thread dedicated to these uppers concerning the availability thereof, myself and a couple others are beginning to lose patience.

I'm contemplating a 604 slickside if I can't get a hold of a brownells upper instead. I won't have a forward assist, but that's a better option than going A2 for this rifle.
