Cold Galvanizing is no more than a can of galvanizing material that is applied by brush or roller. It is designed to bond to the raw, clean, metal ! Is it as good as the Hot Dipped stuff, I have never seen any test performed to see but some say it works great, others are totally against it ! To me... if at all possible use Hot Dip but in a pinch use the Cold stuff, better than nothing ! ... WAIT... can you smell the wood burning..., "What if, you heat up the Cold Stuff and make it Hot Dip", wonder what the temp ranges are for non-cured Cold Galvanizing Material and would it cure while heating it ? LoL !
