I built my 6.8SPC and AR-9 from parts. The Six8 I spent extra money on the barrel and trigger group. For the AR-9 the only thing I splurged on is the trigger.

As far as the new calibers like the 6.5PRC, 22 Nosler, or 338-06 Ackley who knows if they will take off. I jumped on the 6.8 about 8 years ago. I reload and the 6.8 uses the lighter 270 bullets so I was not concerned about ammunition availability. For those that do not reload they need to stick with the more popular calibers.
